By commissioning Norstat UK Ltd you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions as set out below.



Any changes to the project specifications including but not limited to: target group, number of completed interviews, length of survey and incidence rate will be subject to a revised proposal, including timelines and fees.

Norstat will soft launch to achieve 10% of target completes to allow for data checking. We will confirm at soft launch if all sample specs are in-line with expectations. If this is not the case, we will raise this with you and require confirmation of a resolution before proceeding with full launch. This could include a) change in sample specification to raise incidence rate b) rise in costs c) reduction in sample size to accommodate new costs & stay within budget. As always your project is our foremost priority and we will work with closely with you to resolve any difficulties.



We allow up to 10% overage for quality checking purposes. We require the discarded ID’s to be returned to us with an explanation of why they are to be excluded from the survey data.



Norstat will script the questionnaire according to the structure provided by you. You will be asked to test the link to ensure you are happy prior to the survey launching. We allow up to 20% changes to the survey from the original link. Any changes made after this will be costed on a per-hour basis. Any changes made after the soft launch will be charged on a per-hour basis. Any completes collected prior to changes, even if they are discarded, will also be charged for.



Quotes including costs for additional services such as translations and coding are estimated and will be confirmed once we have the final questionnaire / data.



Proposal quotes are valid for no more than 30 days unless otherwise stated.



All projects will be subject to a minimum fee of £750.



You are obligated to pay for all project work performed up to receipt of cancellation. If this falls below the minimum project fee, then the minimum fee as stated above will be charged.



You will not solicit, collect, detect, use or disclose any personally identifiable information related to survey respondents.  Personally identifiable information includes names, addresses, geographic locations, telephone numbers, account numbers, medical information, license numbers, vehicle numbers, device identifiers, ISP identifiers, machine identifiers, serial numbers, URLs, IP addresses, personal photographic or other identifiable images, and any other unique identifying number, characteristic or code.


The client warrants that no personal data will be collected through questionnaires customized by the client, cookies placed by the client, or by other measures implemented by the client in connection with the services or products delivered by NORSTAT subject to these terms. Any cookies placed by the client in the survey respondents’ devices shall only be used for optimization of the user experience related to the survey, and not for any other purposes. The client is responsible for informing the respondents in accordance with the applicable legislation, of its placement of cookies, the information collected by the cookies and the intended purpose of the use of such information by the client.



You will not recruit any survey respondent for any panel, focus group, community or any other purpose without the express prior written approval of Norstat UK Ltd.



Norstat UK Ltd reserves the right to refuse fieldwork of any survey for which we deem the content to be inappropriate. Including but not limited to: Sexual content, pornography, illegal activities and sensitive subjects



You acknowledge that Norstat UK Ltd project proposals, quotes and fees are presented only for your internal use and agree not to disclose them, or any part of them, to third parties.



Norstat UK Ltd owns all right, title and interest, including all Intellectual Property Rights, in and to, Norstat UK Ltd.  For the purposes of this Agreement, “Intellectual Property Rights” means unpatented inventions, patent applications, patents, design rights, copyrights, trade-marks, services marks, trade names, domain name rights, know-how and other trade secret rights, and all other intellectual property rights, derivatives thereof, and forms of protection of a similar nature anywhere in the world.  Any unauthorized use of the Intellectual Property Rights is strictly prohibited, and to enforce such rights Norstat UK Ltd reserves the right to take all such steps as it deems necessary, including without limitation taking legal action and automatically terminating this Agreement. 

All material for public release referencing Norstat UK Ltd, or any of its products must have prior written approval of Norstat UK Ltd.



Norstat UK Ltd does not warrant that any person will agree to participate in the activities conducted by Purchaser using the Norstat UK Ltd and disclaims any responsibility therefor.  Norstat UK Ltd does not warrant the veracity of any data collected through the Market Panel and disclaims any responsibility therefor. Norstat UK Ltd does not warrant that any information shared with Norstat UK Ltd participants (including Purchaser’s Confidential Information) will be kept confidential by Norstat UK Ltd participants.  

Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that it’s use of the market panel is at its sole risk and that the Norstat UK Ltd services are provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. Norstat UK Ltd makes no representation that the Norstat UK Ltd services will meet purchaser’s particular requirements nor that any survey results will be reliable.  to the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, Norstat UK Ltd expressly disclaims all warranties and conditions of any kind, whether express or implied, including (but not limited to) merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. 



To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, neither Norstat UK ltd nor its related entities, directors or officers shall be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of purchaser’s access to, use of, or failure to access or use of the market panel, or survey responses or results or otherwise arising pursuant to these terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.  If purchaser is dissatisfied with the Norstat UK ltd, the terms of this agreement or Norstat UK in any way, purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the market panel.



All billing and payment will be in Pound Sterling unless prior agreement has been made.

Unless otherwise specified, you will make payment within 30 days of invoice date.  Any issues with invoicing should be raised within 7 days of receipt of invoice. Overdue accounts are subject to an interest charge of an annual interest of 8%.



Any dispute arising under this or any other project will be governed in all respects by the laws of the United Kingdom.
